Towing and Roadside Assistance

Again in the spirit of the great transition North, take a moment to review your Towing and Roadside Assistance Package. This coverage is something that about half of my clients buy along with their RV policies and the other half have a separate plan with Good Sam, AAA-Plus or Coachnet.

Did you renew your separate plan this year?? Do you need to add this service to your existing insurance?? Cost to add a good RV Towing plan to your policy will run between $30 and $90 per year depending on the company and package you choose.

Most clients don't realize that all of the insurance companies and the Good Sams, Coachnets actually have 3rd party vendors that handle the Towing and Roadside dispatch services. Every couple of years the insurance companies will get bids from the various vendors and select who they will have handle their policyholders. So, that means that if you had a good or bad experience with Progressive, Good Sam, etc, last year, chances are this year they are using an entirely different vendor.
